Hello golfers,
Well it's been a long break for the majority. It's time to pay attention to the day of the week and time of the day. For me the break is well deserved, the summer months are long days and it's a well-earned rest. Right now though, I'm keen to see the Masters. Those stripy fairways and coloured flower beds of Augusta really do get me and most golfers into the mood for a game. 93 days to go as I write this! What are you most looking forward to in the golfing world in 2016? Let me know here. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a most successful season ahead for 2016, one filled with holes in one, Majors and many birdies.
We don't wish to start the year on a negative, but let's face it, the weather isn't looking too great is it?!
With this in mind, we know many of you have taken to the range to work on your game. If you are doing so, rather than taking a bucket of balls and swinging away aimlessly, give yourself a goal. It takes no time at all to crack your way through 30 or 60 balls, but what are you hoping to achieve by the end of it? Too many amateur golfers make this common mistake.
We have some ways of helping you to improve your range time. Come and speak to the team because we can identify areas of your game where you can improve and offer drills to help you get there. Not only will goals help you focus more on what you're trying to achieve, but it will make hitting balls a touch more rewarding as well.
