Spin
The Z-Star Ball makes use of the new POWERSHEAR™ Dimple Technology which features 324 dimples instead of 330. This is combined with INVISISEAM™ Technology which makes the cover seamless and more consistent through the air.
The soft Urethane cover is then coated with the new Z-COAT™ which creates extremely high levels of spin from even the roughest of lies – 500rpm more than previous Srixon models.

Trajectory
The dimples on the Z-Star Ball have been designed with a low drag profile which reduces wind interaction. The Z-Star also has a lower ball flight due to the POWERSHEAR™ Dimple Technology which keeps the ball in the air longer and creates more run.
The Z-Star also maintains a higher ball speed at the apex of its trajectory which is why it carries further on a lower trajectory.

Acceleration
The Z-Star Ball features Srixon’s patented Energetic Gradient Growth™ Core which is larger than other premium balls and gets progressively harder from the middle to the edge. This creates more rebound (similar to that of a squash ball) at impact while still maintaining great softness and control.
The ultra-thin urethane cover reduces loss of energy at impact and transfers this energy through to the core quicker due to the elastic mid-layer.

Responsiveness
The ultra-soft urethane cover gives you the perfect amount of feel off every clubhead including your putter. This results in more control off the tee and softer landing approach shots.
Srixon have also introduced the new Z-COAT™ to the Z-Star Ball which grips more at impact increasing the spin rate by up to 500rpm from previous Srixon balls. This gives you more spin from any lie lowering your score around the greens.
